Hey its Shal & Errol!
I guess you want to know a little about us… and our crazy company. So here is some of the story as it is right now.
Shal: I grew up in a family of 8 kids, and of course 2 parents. It was a good child hood. My parents fostered kids with a strong work ethic and so I started working to support myself and contribute to the family at 14 years old.
Times were not always so good though. Even though I was young I was plagued by hormonal imbalances that the doctors could not figure out. After making frequent visits to the doctor more times than I can count and being bed ridden for months. My parents finally took me to a holistic medicine expert where she tested me and diagnosed me in a single session.
My family - Just a Shal...
I went through a rigorous cleanse, and after that I was a normal kid. I was strong, played sports, and basically started enjoying life again. I realized then, that natural remedies are "the way”. It felt like a miracle!
I started to study various remedies, and holistic approaches to problems in the body first. Since then... family, friends, and the families that have employed me over the years have benefitted from what I have learned.
But it was always just a hobby....
Errol Gets Sick & Walks In Faith...
You should know…shortly after we started dating, Errol had his own health issues. He was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder ITP. After a difficult year, he prayed to God to ask if he could get off his medication, and against his doctors orders, he did. Surviving on supplements alone for a better quality of life. The medications they put him under put his body through severe stress and weight gain, but a healthier approach, and leaning on supplements proved stable enough to push through. Years later, he is still alive and thankful.
Plus ... he's got me! 💕
Starting the Company!
Back to our story... Shortly after Errol got his strength back. He infused us with some much needed missing energy.
We started a mission, and he named the company after me! ( ha! )
So finally after a lot of time, experimenting, and fun in the kitchen. We had a formula that we really loved. Even though this has been years in the making, we have in a way just started.
Team work makes the dream work...
Together we have been able to achieve what I could not do alone. ( A testament to a good partner - you both are stronger, and make each-other better... together ).
We both work 9-5 jobs, but during our financial hard times ( and good ) we push one another to build on our mission and brand, and depend on what we know.
What really keeps us going, is knowing that our product makes a difference! That's why the reviews from people who trust us enough to try it. Mean so much to Errol and I. It gives us the wind we need to keep sailing!
